Your Holiday Itinerary

 

Day 1  

Fly from your selected UK airport on your scheduled airline flight to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

 

Day 2    Kuala Lumpur

On arrival at Kuala Lumpur International airport, you’ll be greeted by your representative and transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to the 4-star hotel Dorsett Regency. This superb hotel is located in the very heart of the city and within easy walking of the famous Petronas Twin Towers. Here you’ll be accommodated for the next three nights with full American breakfasts.

 

Day 3    Kuala Lumpur

An private city tour of Kuala Lumpur is recommended today, taking in the Royal Palace, the Petronas Twin Towers, China Town and Little India. Your personal driver/ guide will give you an informative commentary in English.

 

Day 4    Borneo Sandakan

This morning you’ll leave Kuala Lumpur and be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to Kuala Lumpur airport for your flight to Sandakan in Borneo. Tonight you’ll be accommodated in the superb Hotel Sandakan with breakfast.

 

Day 5    Selingan Turtle Island

After breakfast you’ll meet with your guide and commence your rain forest safari.  It's then on by speed boat to Selingan Island’s Turtle Beach.

 

Day 6    Sepilok & Sukua

After breakfast you'll travel by speedboat to Sandakan to visit the Orang Utan rehabilitation centre at Sepilok.  After lunch, you'll be transferred by river boat to check into the Sukau Rainforest Lodge.

 

Day 7    Ox Bow Lake

Today you'll visit Ox-Bow Lake for a jungle walk and wildlife experience. After dinner you can take an optional  evening floodlight river safari to see birds, monkeys and crocodiles.

 

Day 8    Sandakan

Return to Sandakan after breakfast for a colonial sightseeing tour and lunch before again checking into Hotel Sandakan for the night.

 

Day 9    Kuala Lumpur

After breakfast you’ll take a morning flight from Sandakan to Kuala Lumpur where you’ll check into your luxury city centre hotel. 

 

Day 10    Kuala Lumpur

The day is free for personal sightseeing and last minute shopping, before checking out of your hotel early evening for Kuala Lumpur airport. 

 

Day 11   

In the very early hours you’ll board your homeward flight arriving in England the same afternoon.
